Studioshop is the total solution for photographers to display their photoshoots to their customers and their relatives and friends. Customers can securely order prints and add framing, mounting or laminating if required.

Studioshop also functions as a great gallery of your current work to show new propective clients.

Studioshop can be easily integrated into your existing website. The top banner would have your logo and any other design incorporated into it.

Prices can be changed at any time. Different price lists can be created for different types of work eg. portraits, weddings, aerial etc. Pricing can even be different for individual customers.

Unlike other online photo solutions Studioshop doesn't have commisions on any prints ordered or charge you for storage of images. Studioshop is software which runs on any web server running Perl and mySQL.

Below is a detailed description of how Studioshop works.

Uploading of your thumbnails is done by a web-based FTP Java applet. If you do not have Java installed, it is a free download from the Sun website.

All you have to do is put all your presized thumbnails into 1 folder, select that folder by clicking Browse and then clicking Send.

The total progress of the upload is shown as well as the time left and the upload speed.

Should you cancel the upload it can be resumed where left off.

After uploading, the images are displayed 12 to a page and can be ordered in either of 2 ways – customers click on the thumbnail or by clicking on FAST ORDER (see below).

Customers can add images from previously uploaded albums by selecting the My other albums pulldown menu.

Your current order can be viewed by clicking VIEW ORDER and when finished clicking GO TO CHECKOUT takes you to the secure area to finalise your order.

Clicking on the thumbnail or 'ORDER PRINTS' opens a new window which allows you to specify the size, quantity and other finishing you might offer like framing, mounting etc.

You can move through each of your images in your ablum with the BACK/NEXT buttons and continue ordering from this window.

The price list for this particular product is displayed on the left.

In many cases a customer will require the same print size off many prints.

In the Fast Order window you can select the quantity, size and this can be applied to all images in the album by clicking Select all.

Discontiguous selections can also be made with a click and shift click combination.
